Happy Lunar New Year of the Tiger! As a person of Cantonese descent, I’ll be going out to eat with my mom’s side of the family for lunch. :D

Here are some different sayings for the Lunar New Year:

Format:

[Writing Script]: [Saying] | [Pronunciation] | [Translation]

Note: For Korean, the vowels only have one sound — there’s no long or short vowel sounds. The vowels are pronounced as if there’s an “h” behind them — “eh”, “ah” “oh”, etc. So “bok” wouldn’t be “bauk”, but “bohk”.

Hangeul: 새해 복 많이 받으세요! | Sae-hae bok man-hee bad-eu-seh-yo!| Happy new year!/Best wishes for a happy new year!

Traditional Chinese:

新年快樂! | Cantonese: Sun neen fai lohk! | Mandarin: Xin nian kuai le! | Happy new year!

Sorry, I don’t have time to do anymore as of now. >.< Maybe later!
