If you’re a WonderFul, You’ve must have already heard the news that Sun Mi will be leaving (JYP says it will be temporary) to further her studies. Hye-Lim, a Korean JYP trainee from Hong Kong will “replace” her, but it is possible for Sun Mi to return and make Wonder Girls a six-member group. Hye-Lim is fluent in Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, so it shouldn’t be a problem for her when the Wonder Girls promote in South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States. As much as I’ll miss Sun Mi, I’ve accepted her decision to further her studies after reading what her fellow Wonder Girls members have said and contemplating her decision for the past month. She was a big asset to the Wonder Girls even though she only trained for a year and a half (which is little compared to Sunye’s five and a half years of training, but a vast amount compared to Ye-eun’s three months of training). She had a steady voice, and her dancing was up to par. :) However, I’ll trust that Hye-Lim will do just as well and will help build Wonder Girls’ image.
To show support, WonderFuls left messages at WGSpectacle, and New York WonderFuls wrote the messages down and tied them to purple (Sun Mi’s favorite color) balloons, leaving them in front of the JYP USA building in hopes that Wonder Girls and Sun Mi would see them. They placed the balloons there during/after the Pop-Con on February 20th (Wonder Girls’ last performance with Sun Mi for now ㅠ.ㅠ）.
