Synopsis (from Javabeans):

Jeon JinHo is a straight guy who pretends to be gay in order to become Park KaeIn’s roommate. His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. He’s a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out a woman’s feelings. KaeIn is very trusting even though she has a habit of being betrayed. However that doesn’t stop her from giving people the benefit of doubt and JinHo is no different. How will KaeIn react when she finds out that her gay roommate is not actually gay at all and that he has fallen for her?

Review:

I (like most people) started this drama because of Lee MinHo. I also started it because of 2AM’s Seulong since this drama was kind of like his acting debut. This drama is kind of like a mix between comedy and serious stuff. Many parts of it made me burst out laughing because the situation was so funny, but other parts of it were so serious and intense. This drama was well thought out; the screenwriters did an excellent job. The transition from the first time the main characters met until the part when they started dating was very smooth ^^ My favorite parts of this drama were probably the hilarious parts between the main characters. I also loved the relationship between KaeIn and her kind, married, photographer friend. In addition, the whole “gay” scheme with JinHo and his coworker was really funny. I ended up laughing every time his friend tried to act gay. However, the one thing that I did NOT like about this drama was near the end, when everything suddenly exploded and all these misunderstandings took place. Those scenes were not pretty..it made me think, “wow, the Jinho and Kaein are finally together and in a blissful relationship, but one event makes it all crumble”. well i guess that’s what a drama’s all about! You love it, you hate it. LOL. Okay, anyways, either than that huge misunderstanding break-up thing, it was all good. But I hate her “friend” InHee! She’s so mean. But I guess I could see where she’s coming from since she was an orphan and nobody ever paid attention to her..I could see why she tries to get so much attention from others.

Rating: 4/5

Not a bad drama; if you’re looking for a romantic comedy, i definitely recommend this one! Not only do you get a good drama with a nice plot, but you also have lots of eye candy to look forward to.
